Nikon D60 with Sb-600 vs Sb-900?
The last question I have in my mind is which one is better for a portrait lighting. I have my Nikon D60 and thinking about the right flash for the camera. Since Sb-800 is no longer available, I am stock with two options SB-600 and Sb-900. The price difference is wow, but I also heard that the light quality is noticeable.
Any suggestions on that one?

I have both the SB-600 and the SB-900. The advantage to the SB-900 is that it is much easier to use off camera and this will allow you to be more creative with your portrait lighting. There are some disadvantages, though. There have been numerous complaints about the SB-900's thermal shutdown, although you can change the settings to turn off this feature.
I have also found that the flash, used for long periods of time at full power, will burn through batteries like you wouldn't believe. This makes sense; if the flash is drawing more power from the batteries then the batteries give out faster.
I learned a lot from the Amazon.com customer reviews. You will have to decide for yourself if the thermal shutoff and short battery life is something you can live with. But, for sheer versatility and picture quality, I love my SB-900.
