The Sad Truth About MLM Business Opportunities
The main issue with the MLM world is folks buy into a dream and then are shoved out into the world with no idea how to build their organization.
Most folks don't join a network marketing opportunity with the required marketing skills to create MLM prospects every day and every week. The mass of opportunity seekers usually go to a company presentation where they are hypnotized by a influential company rep who has built a huge organization. Numerous success stories are produced and after and hour of brainwashing the eager prospect is taken back to the person who invited them with money signs flashing in their eyes excited to become a millionaire.
After the new enrollee arrives at their house and they start to land on earth again they soon come to the realization that have no idea how to start selling their opportunity. After talking with the person who brought them in they find out that they need to phone everyone they know. Further instruction informs them that they need to make a list of all the people they know from their lawyer to their milk man and add them to their MLM leads list. Next they are supposed to pester all of these people and convince them to come to a meeting where they can find their dream too. If you have been around for any lenght of time then you know what is to follow. Most people fail to achieve enough success to make any kind of real money.
Simply put the warm list is not a good source for Network Marketing Leads. The new business owner almost always learns the hard way that most or all of their warm list will not sign up for their business. Some might jump in for a time but quickly drop out because of their own lack of marketing knowledge. The new MLMer is left with little or no business. “It’s OK” they are told. All you have to do it buy this book and purchase this cd. These will help you grow your business. In the end there is still miserable results, no profits and no new network marketing leads.
During all of this craziness the new members's upline isn't making any money either. It's like the blind leading the blind. The long time MLMer hase to constantly sell, convince and recruite. He runs like a gerbil on a treadmill running faster and faster but getting nowhere. Can you say insanity? It's an endless repetitive activity of replacing reps that drop out. The cycle never stop. He has watched one leg of his downline disintegrate overnight. Autoships are terminated and big pay bonuses are gone. “When do I get my big payday?”, he often wonders. The problem is duplication is extremely difficult in network marketing.
Network Marketing is now a MARKETING BUSINESS and no longer sharing business. With so many different opportunities entering the playing field people are left bouncing from business to business looking for the Holy Grail. Why do people jump around? It's becasue of their own lack of marketing knowledge. If people only knew the right way and the smart way to market their business they would have no reason to leave the company they started with. What you need is a system to deliver a massive quantity of leads on a daily basis to your business opportunity. The system also needs to be easily duplicated and able to be passed on to your downline so they can produce the same results.
