To bring out the true colors in areas where in natural light is not enough to highlight the best features of the scene a flash gun is a must have in every professional camera. There are various types of flashes available in the market, some of them are traditional and some of them very recent additions and models, of the latest technologies.
The EMOBLITZ DPZ420AFC Power Autofocus Zoom TTL Speedlite flash gun for Cannon is a very powerful flash. It has IGBT based circuitry and the automatic TTL of 21m. its auto zoom range is 28mm 35mm 50mm 85mm with an exposure time of 1/700 seconds. It can produce up to 300 flashes on a new set of batteries. The color temperature of this flash gun is 5600k and it can operate on 4 AA batteries, or 4 Ni Cad batteries or NiMH batteries. The angle of horizontal swing is up to 330 degree and can be charged within 7 seconds.

my recently brought Lomo Ringflash is not able to trigger off by my Ricoh GRD2. What's wrong?
Answer:
Each camera has its own hot shoe design. So a Canon flash will only work on a Canon camera. A Nikon on a Nikon and so on. There are many third party flash manufacturers but you need to buy the one for your camera.
So in short your Lomo flash will only work on a Lomo camera. It will not work on any others. You also risk damaging your camera by trying to use a flash not designed for it.
